Citrus fruits are thought to help slow down the production of excess melanin. You can help lessen the appearance of dark spots by merely eating more oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits! Superfoods to the Rescue
Some good examples include turmeric root, cucumber, and tomato, all of which are high in antioxidants and can help lighten the appearance of dark marks.
